Dairy Tour & the Bellano Gorge
An experience that combines nature, the local area, and culinary traditions between Lake Como and Valsassina.
The tour begins with a visitto the Orrido di Bellano, one of the most picturesque natural sites on Lake Como: a spectacular gorge carved out over the centuries by the waters of the Pioverna Stream, where suspended walkways allow visitors to stroll among rocky walls, waterfalls, and plays of light.
The experience then continues on to Valsassina, a region that has always been closely linked to cheese production. Here, you’ll visit the Da Carozzi cheese factory, accompanied by the master cheesemaker, to learn about milk processing techniques and the creation of some of the region’s most iconic cheeses.
