La Bottega, adjacent to the Da Carozzi bistro, is the corner dedicated to selling Valsassina’s excellent dairy products. The commissary, nestled in the mountains 20minutes from Lake Como in the small village of Pasturo, is the ideal place to enjoy tasty samples, carefully select and purchase the best Carozzi cheeses, the result of the slow and meticulous processing of our Master Cheesemaker, Marco.
In the store, it will be possible to find fresh, aged and blue cheeses and local products from local realities. Here a skilled and experienced counterman will be able to recommend the solution that is right for you.
Among the dairy’s flagship products, Taleggio DOP, the King of Valsassina, boasts more than 1,000 years of history; blue-veined Gorgonzola DOP is available in its creamy, Dolce and Piccante versions; and Formaggino Rosa d’Alpe encapsulates all the authenticity of the Valley.
